Are you using the Windows version of POPFile?

I am a bit confused when you say "when I select update" because there is no "update" button on the BUCKETS page in the UI.

If you want to create a new bucket you need to select the BUCKETS page in the UI, find the "Maintenance" section on that page, enter the new bucket name in the box labelled "Create bucket with name" and click the "Create" button.
